Jordyn Nelson, Kyleia Klein Period 1 10-26-10 Tones of pleasure Chocolate Pleasure I love the pleasure of chocolate
As it melts upon my tongue
It dribbles all through my mouth
And squishes around my gums
I close my eyes for a moment
As my senses are quite aware
Of the delicious wondrous flavor
Of chocolate lingering there
There are so many chocolate flavors
The dark and the medium too
White chocolate is truly scrumptious
Just perfect, my friend, for you
So whenever you need something sweet
You must try this simple treasure
Just pop a morsel into your mouth
And enjoy some chocolate pleasure!
Marilyn Lott This poem explains someone’s pleasure of eating chocolate. “Wondrous” means wonderful or remarkable. “Scrumptious” is pleasing to the senses. “Lingering” means to remain or stay on in a place longer than is usual or expected, as if from reluctance to leave. Tones of pain Pain Pain Go Away Pain pain go away!
Please do not come back another day.
Tears falling down my face
oh how I wish for his warm embrace.
Wonder if he cares about me.
Wonder if this is suppose to be.
How can he stand there and break my heart
How did we allow us to grow so far apart?
My dreams of us being happy is not going to come true
all I am feeling is down and blue.
Pain pain go away
bring me back to another day
where he loved me and
we thought we were meant to be.
I will not stop loving you that much is true
but I will be stronger in time
and not feel so blue.
you will always be in my heart
even when we are apart.
One day I will have that warm embrace
and tears will stop flowing down my face.
Pain pain go away
leave me alone and do not stay. Resty Rivera( PHILIPPINES)

Incalescent waves of passion against which I am bound
Forsake me now, my gilded goddess. Whose heart like sapphire gleams
Lead me to your splendored touch, my senses yet confound
Your visage haunts my mortal blood, while palms remain alone
I mourn your touch. My heart’s dirge trumpets slowly for your caress
Memories bleeding through my soul without our dyad known
But hope still lingers ever forward while your heart I possess

it was really very silly,
and it didn't make sense,
dogs are funny.
i saw a dog lying on his tummy,
right next to him was a bunny,
i saw a dog try to climb a tree,
when i tried to stop him, he bit me.
dogs are funny.
all he wanted was the branch,
but it was no match,
i saw a dog chase his tail,
oh, oh, he tripped over a pail.
dogs are funny.

Tones of self-importance Our Sense of Self Importance Our sense of self importance within the mind grows

Self conceit and arrogance does not grow on low self esteem
In the Human World in work, business, sport and life in every way
The battle for status goes on every day
Most people are born with the self centred need
That for to be respected they have to succeed
At what they are good at they want to be best
They have this inborn desire to outperform the rest
From the example set by our not so wise mentors we see life in this way
Success the top brand name in the Human World of today
Too many far too many of self only aware
And sad to say compassionate people are becoming more rare. Francis Duggan This poem explains to respect your self-importance. “Arrogance” means offensivedisplay of superiority or self-importance; overbearing pride. “Respected” esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability. Neutral Tones Neutral Tones WE stood by a pond that winter day,
And the sun was white, as though chidden of God,
And a few leaves lay on the starving sod,
--They had fallen from an ash, and were gray.
Your eyes on me were as eyes that rove
Over tedious riddles solved years ago;
And some words played between us to and fro--
On which lost the more by our love.
The smile on your mouth was the deadest thing
Alive enough to have strength to die;
And a grin of bitterness swept thereby
Like an ominous bird a-wing....
Since then, keen lessons that love deceives,
And wrings with wrong, have shaped to me
Your face, and the God-curst sun, and a tree,
And a pond edged with grayish leaves. Thomas Hardy This poem explains how neutral funeral is. “Tedious” means long and tiresome. “Bitterness” is hard to bear. “Deceives” means to mislead by a false appearance or statement.
